On August 19, the acting CEO of the WHI, Mr Michel Jaupart, represented Belgium in Dieppe for the ceremony honouring all veterans and victims of the raid. The delegation also counted members of the Belgian Air Force and of Belgian patriotic societies. A special tribute was brought to aviators and seamen implicated in Operation Jubilee.

Thanks to the exhibition Dieppe. Tribute to a raid organized by the WHI, commemorating the tragic events of August 19, 1942 and illustrating the Belgian part in the operation, Belgium was guest of honour for the ceremony.

2:20 pm : Medal of the city of Dieppe presented by the mayor of Dieppe, Mr Nicolas Langlois and the deputy for the Seine-maritime department, Mr Sébastien Jumel to the Billet and Depoorter families, as a tribute to the sacrifices brought for peace and liberty.
