New Closing Advice
The Minister-President of the Brussels Region, Rudi Vervoort, has announced that, in order to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the Brussels Region, all cultural sites will be closed as of Monday 26 October until new health provisions authorise their reopening. We would therefore like to inform our visitors that the Royal Museum of the Army and Military History will be closed from this Tuesday 27 October onwards (since Monday is our usual closing day).
Due to the new sanitary measures, the reading rooms of the documentation centre will be closed from Monday 26 October until further notice.
During the whole period our sites are closed the War Heritage Institute will not allow visitors presenting gifts or loans of objects and archives. In view of the gravity of the pandemic we ask those concerned for their comprehension.
